Terry (Tee) Barron

Assistant Professor of Mathematics
Georgia Gwinnett College
Dr. Tee Barron started flipping her mathematics classroom at the university where she was teaching in 1999. In the 90s, there were obviously not a lot of on-line resources, so Tee created several of her own; mostly quizzes and assignments from textbook readings. The evolution of flipped resources has developed exponentially since 1999! She used the Thayer Method of Teaching, which closely mirrors the Flipped Classroom Method, when she taught at the United States Military Academy at West Point (2005 – 2007). Tee started teaching at Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC) in 2007 and although at varying degrees throughout the semesters and across courses, has flipped her classroom from the inception of her employment at GGC.
