Pam Litzenberger

Bob Jones Academy Middle School
BJA Middle School Pre-Algebra Teacher
Greenville, South Carolina
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree from Bob Jones University in 1983, Pam began teaching at a small Christian school in south Georgia. This year marks her 26th year of teaching. Over that time she has taught every age group from 3rd grade up through 8th grade. Nineteen of her 26 years have been teaching Pre-Algebra, both in Dallas, TX and Greenville, SC. Teaching the peculiar age group of junior high/middle school is definitely Pam’s passion and teaching Pre-Algebra is her dream job! Along with her classroom endeavors, Pam coached competitive cheerleaders for eleven years. Other interests include running and traveling. This year Pam began flipping one of my five Pre-Algebra classes to compare how students would learn with this model. It was amazing to see the difference in how they learned and the progress made by some of the slower learners in the class. She plans to continue using the flipped model as a tool in her teaching arsenal.
