I began my journey in education as a video production specialist over 15 years ago. Soon after, I began teaching Language Arts. I was also one of the first Technology Integration Specialists in my district. My junior high is also in its third year of being a 1:1 iPad school. With the iPads and my video background, flipping through screencasts and video tutorials seemed a natural fit. This year, I flipped all grammar lessons in my classroom and have loved it. I also gone about 75% paperless in my classroom with all writing submitted through Google Drive. I love the engagement technology offers students, and I want to use iPads to better decrease some of the learning and accessibility gaps that exist as well.
