My name is Eric Watt and I have been teaching science for eight years. I have taught biology, chemistry, physics, physical science and zoology. I began using mastery learning in my classroom four years ago. This is my second year implementing a flipped classroom with a mastery approach to it. I was exposed to the idea of a flipped classroom while doing research for my Master’s degree in Educational Administration. I have presented on the flipped classroom at National Catholic Education Association National Convention 2012, FlipCon12, and ICE/Flipped Network Workshop 2012. I will be presenting at ICE Conference 2013 and NCEA National Convention 2013.
