Paula Thomas

Mathematics teacher
Marion City Schools
I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University in 2004 and my Master’s Degree from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 2006. I have been teaching 7 years, the last 6 years with the Marion City Schools as part of the Mathematics department at the high school. The past three years I have been co teaching two different levels of math, pre algebra and algebra 1. The 2012-2013 school year my co teacher and I have started flipping our Essentials of Algebra class. The Flip has allowed our students who struggle to have access to our instruction any time of the day. This also gives them experience in using technology to better prepare them for life after high school.
