76-Tapping those Apps... Making it Hip (and Easier) to Flip
With the increased availability of iPads, flipping your classroom is becoming more manageable and accessible for teachers. But once you have an iPad, how do you start? What are the best apps to use, and what challenges might you face? Two veteran teachers will discuss some of the apps used during their first year in a fully flipped course. Doceri and ExplainEverything will be demonstrated with other apps mentioned, as well. Pros & cons of these apps will be discussed while fielding participant questions. Attendees will have the chance to create their own content on their personal iPads. It is suggested that you bring a laptop and an iPad pre-loaded with the aforementioned apps in addition to an Evernote or Dropbox app that already contains potential presentation materials (pdf files, powerpoints, etc.) for the purposes of importing in your practice presentations.
